NCADD Tampa Bay, Inc. is one of the newest affiliates of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. Founded in 1944 by Mrs. Marty Mann, NCADD now has approximately 100 affiliates all across America. 

The mission is to prevent the disease of alcoholism, other drug addictions, and related problems through educating the public and encouraging scientific research. In addition, NCADD advocates on behalf of alcoholics and their families and for policies that will ensure access to care for the treatment of alcoholism, other drug addictions and related problems.

The National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. is a national voluntary health organization headquartered in New York City and Washington, D.C.

NCADD Tampa Bay, Inc. was created in April of 2001 as a non-profit corporation by a group of concerned citizens. NCADD Tampa Bay, Inc. is funded through the generous donations of those who are in recovery or are concerned about recovery.
